Make Today a Sweet Day

So what is the bottom line man, how do I make today a sweet day?

Be real.

Get off your butt and do it.

The problem is that we often expend way too much energy on dreaming about stuff, thinking about stuff, buying stuff, but not doing stuff. That is procrastination and it wont make today a good day.

Every new morning presents a new start to life but it’s up to you. So stop waiting for someone or something to come and save your sorry ass, it’s not going to happen. It’s all up to you.

So here is what you do:

WARNING: its real simple. (Simple solutions work best)

Start your day by deciding what is most important to you, today. Forget about yesterday and don’t get ahead of yourself with tomorrow, we are dealing with today.

You may have a hectic schedule or you may just have an empty little feeling. Either way you need to decide on doing just those few things that are important to you.

…just a few meaningful things… ok?

(Like eating dark chocolate and downing some whisky. Kidding)

But you can’t do everything in one day, if you try you will fail and feel like crap. So get real. Go through your to-do list and calmly select. (If you don’t have a list, make one dude)

Love is knowing when to say yes… and when to say no…

Being real will make you  a more balanced and naturally cool person. You will become more productive in doing quality work and kicking ass and having fun.

Regardless of who we are, we all live one day at a time, right? Becoming fully aware of this is critical, it puts us into the natural flow of life and love and that’s sweet. We are able to focus on the one step we are now taking. Remember the old saying that a journey of a thousand miles is taken one step at a time. Don’t argue with simple logic.

So there you have it, if you want to have a good day – just do it. Make an easy start by only doing what is most valuable to you. Don’t burn out doing too much and don’t minimise in fear – just learn to say YES to the good stuff and NO to the bad stuff. Now get real and do it – one step at a time.

So what important and meaningful thing are you going to do today?
